Beginner's Yoga Course - 6 Weeks

Service Description

This 6 week course will introduce you to the basics of yoga. We will cover yogic breathing techniques which are great for helping manage stress and to calm the mind. We will also look at just how important these are at bringing balance both mentally and physically. We will also cover many of the well known yoga poses that you are likely to encounter in most yoga classes, such as the infamouse warrior poses and many more. This course will teach you the correct alignment of the poses and how to modify them according to your body. Everyone is unique therefore we all have our own unique alignment. This knowledge will give you the confidence to step into the studio if that is something you would like to do. We will also touch upon the principals of yoga and how the practice can help you do life better. Yoga is so much more than just stretching! 😊 As well as the 6 x 1 hour weekly sessions you will also have access to join my other two online classes to give you extra experience during our time together. This will also give you experience in other areas. This is of course optional but is included in your course. While it is important that we meet live so that I can safely guide you, I understand you might not be available for all the lives, all sessions will be recorded and sent to you so you can catch up or even practice the class again. So who is this course for? This course is for ANYBODY wanting to give yoga a try. For anybody looking to gain better mobility & strength. For anybody who would benefit from a calmer mind. For anybody not ready to go into an in person yoga studio. For anybody wanting to just do life better! Yoga can help us do better on so many levels, I’ll show you how! You will finish the course feeling more confident in your physical practice, have an understanding of basic yogic breathing techniques. Basic yogic philosophy knowledge.
